Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team as Lounge Host - Specialty Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa is completing a property-wide renovation and up-branding from Regency to Grand. Set to debut in 2024, Grand Hyatt will feature 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef (Angelo Sosa) food & beverage venues.

Lounge Hosts are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests. These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations.

This is an On-Call/Casual schedule opportunity with flexible hours.

Responsibilities may include

• Greet and welcome arriving guests

• Escort guests to their tables or the waiting area

• Takes reservations and assigns guests on the waiting list

• Answers phone calls and guest inquiries

• Assists restaurant staff when necessary

• Maintains clean and organized tables, chairs, and dining sets

• Provides menu and server information

• Other duties as assigned by management and wait-staff

The hourly pay-rate for this position is $16.00.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Host/Greeter experience required

• Outstanding communication skills with a friendly and welcoming presence

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to interact with multiple types of people

• Able to move constantly and remain on feet for long periods of time

• Excellent personal hygiene and customer service skills
