Logistics Coordinator

Manpower has partnered with our client in their search for a Logistics Coordinator.

Logistics Coordinator role involves overseeing a team of truck drivers, responsible for ensuring the prompt and efficient delivery of product. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate and schedule trucks based on multiple factors.

Essential Functions:

• Overseeing all aspects of delivery operations.

• Hiring and retaining highly qualified drivers.

• Maximizes efficiency of product delivery by establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules.

• Assists with fleet needs and coordinates with maintenance on equipment repairs.

• Work with departments across the organization

• Manages vehicles license and registration, and ensures all drivers have proper licensure and up to date training.

• Knowledgeable of current transportation regulations.

• Maintains proper documentation and records for all fleet activities.

• Be proficient in other Microsoft programs such as Excel and Outlook.

Job Qualifications:

• Must have excellent time management and coordination skills.

• Must be an excellent communicator

• Must be self-motivated and detailed oriented.

• Must be able to act while exhibiting judgment and systematic approach to decision making.

• Must have computer knowledge including all software programs provided for the job.
