The Enterprise Cybersecurity and Risk (ECR) team will support GSC and R&D as they spearhead these efforts.

    This role will support all activities and tasks with assessing IT risks and controls in the Company's various IT work and processes related to Blaine's campus Global R&D - Hair Category and Global Supply Chain - R&D, QA, and Manufacturing to ensure the continuous and effective operation of Data Integrity controls for the site in line with the global DI standards.

    This is a highly hands-on serving as a primary point of contact for the Blaine campus DI user communities' providing technical issue resolution as well as evidence in timely manner to enhance user productivity. This role needs to work collaboratively and in partnership with the campus field engineers employed by our Global strategic vendor partner as well as the department data integrity leads (R&D & Supply). This role needs to coordinate issue resolution when issues are cross functional in nature and span ownership across multiple IT teams and outside vendors. The role is expected to be onsite at least 3 days a week and as and when required as dictated by business requirements. This role ensures the Blaine DI user communities satisfaction with the day-to-day services. Proactively escalate potential issues and leverage the Global DI Tech team and the Blaine campus IT SDM to ensure uninterrupted IT service availability to the business users.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Collaborate with various IT project leads and team members to assess scope, objectives, deliverables, and the respective impact on GSC and R&D systems from a Data Integrity ("DI") perspective.

    • Understand and review DI IT controls within project life cycle/system implementation.

    • Identify projects/system implementations with DI impact.

    • Establish DI IT controls for gaps/deficiencies identified within project life cycle/system implementation.

    • Establish DI control checklists for project teams to complete to ensure tasks/deliverables are reviewed and approved for each milestone and before moving to next phase.

    • Ensure business requirements/functionalities are tested, reviewed, and approved in the context of DI requirements.

    • Evaluate and report any DI IT risks of the project including the development of contingency plans.

    • Liaise with any vendors or suppliers in relation to the projects.

    • Assess 3rd party vendor's DI IT control environment for related hosting and/or services provided.

    • Coordinate with DI Site Managers, QA, and Inspectors to facilitate audit reviews, quality reviews, and site inspections respectively.

    • Configure Windows and GxP Application Software controls to the recommended parameters and settings to meet CFR21 part 11 requirements.

    • Coordinates the Connecting of DI Instruments and PCs to the network collaborating with various departments and teams respectively.

    • Support the management of IT hardware and operating systems to eliminate risk of downtime on PC's when patching systems that have locally installed GxP Applications as well as web accessed devices.

    • Research and Recommend OS and GxP Application Version upgrades assessing and mitigating risk collaborating with Vendors and Local IT Teams.

    • Integrate and Support the Change Management process of all IT related GxP Software.

    • Support and Maintain Data and Records creation and modification in the sustained inventory platforms.

    • Support efforts to secure and manage data in approved Data Integrity locations (i.e., "Validated Systems, Qualified Systems, Compliance").

    • Ensure understanding of the defined IT SOP and WIKIs and provide feedback on gaps and changes to ensure a balance between theory and practice.

    • Supports the validity of all aspects of user access provisioning and leavers procedure and adhere to the quarterly certification process in conjunction with key DI business stakeholders.

    • Ensures compliance with regulatory operations such as Change controls, quarterly GxP sign offs as agreed with IT and business and participates in relevant governance meetings.

    • Responsible for keeping the application data 'green' (Current, Correct & Complete) in SNOW APM. Participates in the application certification process quarterly and maintain the completeness and accuracy of all APM records assigned.

    o Creation of new application records

    o Maintaining accuracy and completeness of Application Records

    o Completing APM Certification Task

    o Ensuring complete Application Portfolio is tracked in APM

    • Partner with the global team to deploy the backup process for all GxP in-scope systems and non-GxP and play a key role in the backup restore process including quarterly backup restore verification.

    • Supports the Printer Scanner Calibration Confirmation for True Copy Process as per ELC IT standards.

    • Document the current DI landscape in Blaine and understand risks associated with local DI infrastructure - outdated hardware and/or software's and/or OS patches, facilitate software installations, and define support mechanisms and suppliers and highlight mitigation and remediation opportunities to the Blaine campus IT SDM and Global DI team lead.

    • Partner with the onsite FSE lead to ensure Break/Fix and Spares pool is available for DI purposes.

    • Provide insight to the Blaine campus IT SDM to help forecast EOL equipment replacement.

    • Where required, manages renewal/upgrades with local vendors. Individually or working with the Blaine IT SDM, Procurement teams, anticipates, and manage contract renewal dates for DI software's, handle annual contract SLA, delivers efficient supplier management.

    • Ensure that DI Tech services being brought into the environment have proper support model as well as a decommissioning strategy as applicable. Assist DI site readiness and communication of project intent prior to initiation of any projects.

    • Coordinate R&D and SC projects by supporting remote-based Project Managers with on-the-ground coordination including and not limited to vendor engagement and ensure effective communication and partnership with key business project stakeholders.

    • Guiding IT project teams in local DI relevance and dealing with concerns raised by the business. Identify the barriers and potential risks and possible unintended consequences of a technology change impacting the Blaine DI user community.

    • Participate in successful resolution and provides site DI specific feedback into Priority Service restoration bridge calls.

    • Communicates with the IT SDM to ensure that the Risk Register is updated according to IT policies

    • Coordinates all security exceptions as required by the DI community & in line with IT policies.

    • Provide insight on building renovations / remodelling and buildouts, reassigning of departments in the work location and impact on DI scientific equipment.

    • Work with the technical teams to understand the impact of planned outages on the DI end-user community, coordinate and communicate outage windows and facilitate end user testing after changes are made to ensure there is no degradation in services.

    • Ensures delivery of high touch customer services and handle customer service escalations.

    • Supports the adoption of technology by providing guidance to the DI user community on best practices, users' roles & responsibilities, How-To's & best methodology to leverage DI services, corporate IT and DI policies

    • Energize and participate actively in key Global IT events such as Tech Day in Pink, IT Day of Service and look for local engagement opportunities (ERGs etc.)

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years practical experience in technology risk and control or IT audit (Pharma experience is a plus) Has broad knowledge of key risks and controls in Data Integrity.

    • Experienced in desktop / micro-processor technology including and not limited to MacBook, PC, Linux support and maintenance.

    • Knowledge of IT services including but not limited to O365 collaboration tools, network, storage, desktop support

    • Working knowledge of Service Now (SNOW)

    • General working cybersecurity and compliance regulations knowledge

    • Proficient in Cloud Technologies including familiarity with the Azure cloud services.

    • Familiar with data integrity principle for regulatory compliance (i.e., user access, audit trail, computer system validation) would be a plus.

    • Proven ability to work as part of a team, with professionals / stakeholders at all levels and cross functional teams.

    • A self-starter who can work without daily supervision and limited direction.

    • Tenacious with good follow up and attention to detail

    • Good Problem solving / analytical skills and capability to convert information to actionable goals.

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $98,500 to $165,750. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
