    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Journeyman Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer supports SED by providing QA expertise to project and program managers engaged in SED QA support activities.

    • Support portfolios and programs in achieving desired production and/or deployed systems quality.

    • Assist the PM in the development of RFPs and the assessment of associated proposals including developing, reviewing, and providing technical quality management input for contractual documentation such as PWS, SOO or PWS, technical instructions, Scope of Work revisions, and evaluation of contracted System Developer's responses for feasibility and completeness.

    • Collaborate with Test Engineers to establish best practices and procedures for defining User Acceptance Tests and ensure delivery of high-quality products. As coordinated through SED, they may receive, log, or support the maintenance of the program's contract data requirements list (CDRL) deliverables across various projects; and coordinate internal CDRL review and approval processes.

    • Support control of requirements baselines in the program's requirements management system to ensure that the information it contains is accurate, and baseline integrity is maintained.

    • Perform periodic audits of requirements management systems to ensure accuracy of content, as well as track requirements status and change activity throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring they are well-defined and properly traced.

    • Ensure all program staff members are following and using the most up-to-date and approved processes, procedures, and work templates, and support the program quality assurance and property management functions as required.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.

    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Federal acquisition practices and production/quality management standards.

    • 2 years of position-specific relevant experience.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and/or SharePoint.

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Must be a U.S. citizen

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

    • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
