IT Project Manager

Key responsibilities

• Supports the daily stand-ups, guaranteeing their are focused, brief, and timely

• Assists to manage, identify, and classify risk for functional improvement requests

• Assembles with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

• Works closely together and communicates with developers, designers, stakeholders, and technical team members

• Sets out project with right ticket workflows and boards

• Follows and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

• Produces detailed reporting to management on risk assessment, milestone completion, and project status

• Defines the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

• Verify that the functional requirements are tracked, met, and achievable

• Sets schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

• Associates with Product Owner/Product Manager to make sure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are unmistakable and attainable

• Aids to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

• Acquires information from technical leads, QA leads and business analysts into counsel

• Manages deployment scheduling in coordination with Product Owner, tech lead and Dev Ops

• Works closely with the Product Owner/Product Manager, Business Analyst, QA Manager and Product Specialist

• Coordinates and directs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and marks ticket assignments

• Facilitates the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

• Attends as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - ensuring the team is working effectively, clearing obstacles, and leading scrum ceremonies

• Drives project planning

• Collaborates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap Requirements - Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability, strong operation and project management skills

• Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

  • Applicants should have a Project Management (PMP) certification

  • If you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies, you can succeed in this position

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

  • Proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools is strongly preferred.

• Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

• Command of project management

• Foundational knowledge in IT infrastructure libraries

• Solid understanding of PMP Certification

• Proficiency in Project Management Certification

• ITIL Processes experience highly desired

  • Applicants with experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs are preferred

  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and social skills
