    Meet Our Team:

    We're looking for an exceptional IT Project Manager to join IT PMO team. You'll serve as the trusted advisor and work with a diverse team of IT Managers, Business Transformation Consultants, Product Managers, Developers, Tester, and UX to help define and shape IT Portfolios. The insights you deliver to Business Stakeholders will provide key performance metrics and actionable findings required for the business to meet its Strategic Imperatives and Execution Initiatives.

    The Project Manager will be part of the IT PMO. The role will be focused on planning, organizing and managing activities to achieve successful completion of agile projects to ensure commitments on quality, scope, time and budget are met. The Project Manager will also work closely with IT Managers, Product Managers and stakeholders to help define and shape Product Roadmaps for IT Teams.

    What You'll Do at Pega:

    Portfolio and Project Management

    • Provide project management oversight for enterprise application development projects and delivering departmental roadmaps

    • Partner with Product Managers, Development Managers, and PMO to oversee and lead demand and capacity planning

    • Ensure artifacts are complete and reflective of project scope

    • Provide accurate and timely Project Status Reports

    • Manage Project Risks and Issues through proper escalation and mitigation planning

    • Partner with and lead project teams to address and manage Change Requests

    • Lead Project Closures and Retrospectives to provide Continuous Improvement, Best Practices and Lessons Learned Assessments

    • Manage customer expectations and partner with Department Managers and Product Managers to effectively negotiate priorities, release planning, and delivery schedules

    • Proactively manage activities to ensure scope, timeline and budget is not compromised

    Coach and guide scrum teams to meet product deliverables within an agile framework

    • Work with the Enterprise Application CoE Scrum Teams to lead and deliver high-value features & enhancements to applications while also addressing technical debt and needed bug fixes

    • Facilitate and lead communication between Portfolio Management, Product Management, Development, Quality Management, U/X, Business Sponsors, and Stakeholders

    • Ensure all tasks within sprints are progressing smoothly to meet deadline

    • Partner with Product Managers to maintain Project Status Reports and communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations

    • Conduct daily standup meetings for global implementation team

    • Work with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize backlog, reprioritizing as needed to address urgent issues or hotfixes

    • Work with tech leads and stakeholders to ensure tasks are well defined, groomed and properly tagged/estimated

    Process Improvement

    • Actively participate in PMO process improvement sessions and own project management processes at the portfolio level

    Training and Enablement

    • Serve as a Project Management and Scrum Evangelist - mentoring and coaching project and agile practitioner

    Who You Are:

    The ideal candidate should be a motivated, and accomplished project management professional who has a track record of building and leading large and sophisticated IT Program Portfolios.

    What You've Accomplished:

    • 5 years of project management experience with IT projects, and at least 4 years specifically with Enterprise Systems.

    • 5+ years of experience working in a large global environment.

    • 3+ years of experience working in PMO organization.

    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills in managing cross functional projects in a resource matrix environment.

    • Experience with Product / SCRUM Master Management and Project Management tools, particularly JIRA and MS Project

    • Deep understanding of Project Management Methodologies and ability to navigate between Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid projects.

    • Background in Finance/Accounting and ability to translate and align business needs to

    • IT Strategic Initiatives

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment

    • Strong process and methodology knowledge and experience for software development lifecycle (SDLC).

    • Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of technologies and products (highly technical).

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment.

    • BS degree in an IT related field; MBA or Computer Science is a plus
