We are committed to excellence and are looking for a seasoned IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head (NSWC IHD) Code 104.

    As an IT Project Manager at Code 104, you will play a pivotal role in steering our projects towards success. You will ensure strict adherence to deadlines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks, thereby solidifying our position as industry leaders.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the management of various projects within Code 104, ensuring seamless execution from inception to closure.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clearly define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.

    • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgeting.

    • Conduct risk assessments for projects; devise and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.

    -Organize regular project status meetings and report project progress to all stakeholders effectively.

    -Identify and implement process improvements within Code 104's existing workflows and procedures.

    -Drive strategy planning efforts that are in line with the company's long-term goals and objectives.

    -Critically evaluate existing processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and lead the charge in proposing and executing enhancements.

    -Utilize data and metrics analysis to inform decision-making and foster an environment of continuous improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of six (6) years of proven experience in project management, strategy planning, and process improvement within the IT sector.

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for negotiation and conflict resolution.

    • Proficient in project management software and tools.

    SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold an active Secret (or higher) security clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

    Physical Demands

    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

    • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

    • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
