    Job Description

    The Global IT Services organization at SS&C is responsible for the 'care and feeding' of our associates' workstation environments. The Strategic Initiatives group handles their project management and reporting responsibilities. We are looking for someone to join our team as an IT Program and Project Manager.     The primary focus of this role is developing a project plan and customizing the best solution to meet the project's needs. You will collaborate across departments during implementation. Through this process you will play an active in role improving and shaping the department and our processes.


    • Lead projects from discovery to implementation to go-live.

    • Communicate with stakeholders to understand requirements, manage project progression, and set expectations.

    • Become a domain expert and investigate creative solutions to meet needs.

    • Gather functional requirements across stakeholder use cases and iteratively change software and/or hardware to meet expectations

    • Work closely with the following internal teams:

    • Help Desk team to ensure end-user satisfaction.

    • Field Services team for location-based support.

    • Desktop Engineering team on implementing and deploying advanced solutions.

    • Strategic Initiatives team to identify, define, and test processes and solutions.

    • Identify, triage and escalate issues to management or internal teams as appropriate

    • Create and manage both end-user associate and internal processes, documentation, and trainings.

    SNOW/ Remedy, Lansweeper/ Aset Mgmt/ Obtain, Confluence, jira

    SQL, PowerShell, Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting



    • 3-5 years of experience in a customer facing operations role ideally for a SaaS organization.

    • Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously

    • Experience with spreadsheets (ideally Excel) and technical acumen (any of the following or similar are a plus Powershell, SQL, Perl, Ruby, Java)

    • Passion for process improvement.

    • Motivated, self starter and collaborative team member

    • Detail-oriented, analytical, organized.

    • Upbeat, even-tempered, and empathetic with the ability to address challenging situations with humor, understanding, and patience.

    • Proactive and outcome-driven

    • Able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

    • Ideal candidate will have experience in a startup.


    This position requires working remotely or in a SS&C Office in the United States Eastern Time Zone. Ideally New York. Early morning meetings with European and International stakeholders are a weekly occurrence.
