    Job Summary / Purpose

    The Program Manager has a solid line reporting directly to the System Manager of Strategy and Operational Performance Optimization for Consumer, Clinical Applications and Data within IT. They are responsible for identifying, analyzing and monitoring issues that affect IT strategy, plan and operating models.The Program Manager is expected to work autonomously and through collaboration, demonstrates sound leadership while focusing on effective management of approved IT investments and the operational performance and Consumer, Clinical Applications and Data teams.

    The Program Manager is responsible for

    • Ensuring approved IT investments are aligned with the strategic direction of the region as outlined by the Region CIO.

    • Must have the ability to engage with Sr Leaders to clarify business objectives, capture and analyze requests, and assess strategic alignment and value.

    • Manages analytical and research activities supporting the IT strategic, short-term, and long-range goal planning function.

    • Oversees data collection and conducts organizational reviews to identify division IT strengths and weaknesses, and evaluates operational effectiveness for Consumer, Clinical Applications and Data Teams.

    • Designs and executes methods to track and measure organizational performance data to use for planning.

    • This position is vital to ensuring the health of approved IT investments, and aligning the "right" work to division strategies and goals.

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

    • 5+ years of IT experience, Healthcare IT required

    • Experience engaging and influencing Sr leaders

    • Previous experience engaging in strategy, planning or organizational performance assessment preferred

    • Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification preferred

    • Experience in monitoring the health of division strategy and plan is preferred

    • Risk and issue management

    • Working Knowledge of EHR ecosystem, Data Integration and Cyber Risk and Compliance

    • Decisiveness/Ability to make a quick assessment of the scope of an issue and provide options for its closure

    Pay Range

    $51.66 - $74.91 /hour
