Inventory Specialist

Description

A busy company in the North Caldwell area is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join their team. This Inventory Specialist will get the chance to join a growing organization that offers career development, great work/life balance, and the ability to work in a hybrid work schedule. The ideal Inventory Specialist will have 3+ years of inventory experience, have handled a large volume of SKUs, and be an intermediate Excel user (proficiency in pivot tables and vlookups). responsibilities of this Inventory Specialist will include but not be limited to:

• Conducting cycle counts

• Analyzing inventory, inventory turn rates, and past orders to ensure accurate stock levels

• Assessing current shipping materials and optimize for further efficiency if able

• Compiling data on key inventory metrics

• Monitoring inbound inventory throughout entire process

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and inventory controls

• Collaborating with distribution centers and warehouse management teams to solve any inventory issues when needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of inventory or relevant experience

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or relevant field a plus
