  • ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

    The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.

    Dates: June 10 to August 16, 2024

    Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week

    YOUR DAY TO DAY

    • Ad Hoc analysis Work with other Corporate Finance functions e.g. Finance Operations, AP, GBS, etc.

    • Support the Corporate FPA team with monthly budget and forecast process.

    • Interact with divisional FPA teams including Mexico, US Networks, US Local Media and Streaming business.

    • Interact with several Business Units across the enterprise.

    • Consolidate financial statements, understanding the different revenue streams of the business as well as the nature of the Company's operating expenses, e.g. entertainment and sports programming costs, news costs, marketing, and sales costs, etc.

    • Ad hoc assignments as needed.

    • There will be a group innovation project assigned to all interns at the beginning of the program where you will be working cross functionally and present the ideas at the end of the program to an executive committee.

    YOU HAVE

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, preferred.

    • Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.

    • Expected graduation of summer 2024 or winter 2024.

    • Strong communication, collaborative, and analytical skills.

    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, preferred.

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.

    • Oracle knowledge, Preferred

    • Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred.

    • Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future,
