Insurance Business Architect

Job Description

This insurance software integration company is looking for a Business Architect with expertise in Duck Creek's Policy center to join the team. This role will be responsible for driving projects, leading a team of business analysts, creating practice strategy, & working with clients on integrations. The Business Architect will work alongside a delivery lead, solution architect, & team of BA's to define project scope and hand it off to a blended on & offshore team for delivery. This role eventually will be responsible for establishing and leading a project delivery practice. An excellent candidate will have insurance industry experience, vast knowledge of Duck Creek's policy center, excellent client facing communication skills, the ability to lead and develop a team, and experience guiding practice strategy.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years' experience in the insurance industry (Not looking for IT, need someone that understands ins and outs of the P&C insurance business)

Ideally with a background in underwriting

Executive-level communication skills and experience writing business requirements at a high-level

Experience leading and managing people - on & offshore Background in Commercial Lines insurance (cover businesses rather than property belonging to an individual)

Functional knowledge of Duck Creek technology or similar insurance tech platforms

Background in Underwriting or other Insurance operational function null
