Inspector

Aerotek is hiring for Water Inspectors in Clairton ,PA!

Time: M-F, typically 7am-3pm. Must be willing to work occasional Saturdays if needed.

Pay: $19-$23 (based on experience)

Location: Clairton, PA

Job Description:

• Perform emissions testing's that is generated at the USX Clairton Works plant.

• Record observations of emissions from the coke making process in accordance with state and federal regulations.

• Communicate professionally with supervisors and client on site.

• Ability to work outdoors and walk around the site, must be comfortable with being in the elements.

• Utilize MS Office to input observations of emission data.

• Basic knowledge of computers/technology and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Requirements:

• 6+ months experience using Microsoft office

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to walk rounds around the site each day

• Comfortability with being in outdoors in an industrial environment each day

Preferred to have

• 1+ year of experience working in a heavy industrial setting (power plant, steel mill, etc)

• College Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or Geology
