    Responsibilities

    Collects, maintains, and makes available to authorized users timely, accurate, secure and complete patient health information in an electronic environment. Controls the release of medical information from electronic patient medical records in accordance with the state's rules and regulations and HIPAA.

    Qualifications

    Minimum

    • One year of medical office experience or currently enrolled in HIM equivalent study course

    • High School Diploma/GED

    • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows

    Preferred

    • Health Information Management (HIM) work environment, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Cerner experience

    Pay Range

    $18.00 - $19.94 /hour
