  • The Opportunity

    Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a Guest Operations Manager, Tour Stops to join our team at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Merritt Island, Florida. As a Guest Operations Manager, you will be responsible for tour stops, crew members, and the financial management of assigned tour stop locations.

    Pay

    Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $56900 - $76800 / year

    In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range.     Responsibilities

    • Oversee bus tour patrons and departure of tour buses in the loading and unloading areas.

    • Coordinate in tour routing and equipment utilization with related departures in the public visitor program.

    • Complete all necessary reports and forms for summary of daily activities.

    • Establish contact with government subcontract agencies to obtain restrictions for road blocks.

    • Direct safety training and provide necessary resources and information for tour operations team members.

    • Drive a company vehicle as needed.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in hospitality, tourism, business, or similar preferred.

    • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in theme park or high volume attractions required.

    • Experience managing a budget and payroll for a department is required.

    • Experience with ticketing systems required.

    • Valid driver's license is required.

    • Must be able to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
