Job Description
Our General Manager is pivotal in overseeing the airport's overall operations and management. This position involves strategic planning and coordination of various departments, including passenger support and janitorial, to ensure efficient and safe airport operations. You are responsible for liaising with airline partners, regulatory bodies, and government agencies, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and standards, along with exceeding KeyPerformance Indicators established by the company and airline customer. You will also focus on financial management, business development, and customer satisfaction to enhance PrimeFlight's reputation and profitability.

Oversee all operational aspects of the business unit, including passenger assistance and janitorial, and other duties as assigned.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Manage and lead a diverse team of supervisors, leads, and frontline employees.
Monitor operational performance against key performance indicators and objectives.
Liaise with airlines, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and effective collaboration.
Drive business growth through innovative service offerings and strategic partnerships.

You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks.
Like to build long term relationships with your customers
Physical activity may include:
Position is occasionally sedentary, sitting for long periods of time, but primarily moving about the airport terminal and concourses interacting with employees, passengers, and our airline customers.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by an airport environment.
Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary.
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means.
Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and or fingers due to continuous typing or writing along with lifting and moving passenger bags and janitorial cleaning supplies.
Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum age of 18 years old
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents.
5 years of experience in airport or aviation management, including leadership roles.
Strong understanding of aviation regulations, operational safety, and security protocols.
Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the Aviation Industry.
Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).

Compensation:
The pay rate $65,000 listed on this post is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position. However, individual compensation may vary based on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, education, and experience.
