General Manager / Chef Manager

Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a dynamic and energetic GM/Chef Manager to join our team at one of our high profile accounts in Hopewell, NJ! The current food landscape consists of 1 Corporate Café, Coffee Bar and Catering Operations.

The ideal GM/Chef Manager will be the number 1 for the operation in addition to being the chef for the location. This position represents a 70/30 split with a 70% of the role focused on administrative duties. The GM/Chef Manager will be responsible for financial reporting and the client relationship. Ability to multitask and deliver high end experience every day.

The ideal candidate has:

• a culinary background

• excellent hospitality, leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies

• the demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities; and/ or

• excellent leadership and communication skills

The successful candidate will:

• manage the daily food production including production planning, controls, and cook

• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented

• have a passion for food; and/or

• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members
