    • Position Summary*

    Reports to the Senior Director, Sales & Ancillary Accounting.

    • Key Responsibilities*

    • Manage the business use of revenue accounting systems, including Revera, FDM, and revenue reporting tools

    • Identify business process design, requirements, and report/query requirements and communicate with IT and outsourced vendors

    • Identify and collaborate with business units on process improvements and impacts to revenue accounting systems and facilitate changes

    • First level of end-user system support; once issue is identified, communicate to IT and outsourced vendor

    • Review all revenue accounting system major releases, system changes, and data fixes. Coordinate with third party vendor and IT teams to ensure proper testing and documentation are completed

    • Formulate user test plans and test cases and facilitate system end-user testing and acceptance

    • Manage and review master table updates in the revenue accounting systems and coordinate with third party vendor to ensure proper and timely changes are made

    • Document changes in business policies and procedures and conduct walkthroughs with the Revenue Accounting team

    • Create, gather, and analyze sales and revenue reports for use by management for accounting and other decision making purposes

    • Create and manage revenue accounting system user access and profiles and provide management reporting for SOX reviews.

    • Professional development and other related duties as assigned

    • Minimum Requirements*

    • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience

    • 3 years of related work experience

    • Experience in functional systems analysis, including analyzing and documenting business needs and an expert understanding of how applications support the business

    • Systems implementation and data conversion experience

    • Requires general understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and accounting processes

    • Must have the ability to fully grasp and understand Revenue accounting issues, processes, procedures, and controls

    • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, including process documentation (i.e., flowcharts). Must also possess strong interpersonal communication skills.

    • Proficient in MS Office and MS Visio

    / Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $78,000 - $111,000./

    • Preferred Qualifications*

    • CPA

    • 3 - 5 years internal or financial audit experience

    • Airline experience (2 years)

    • Experience with data analysis/query tools (such as SQL and Business Objects)

    • Experience supporting airline revenue accounting systems
