Forklift Operator

Job Description

Insight global is looking for a Forklift Operator for one of our clients. They will be responsible for efficiently operating the machinery, utilizing hand controls to manuveur forks and pallets within the racking systems. Your duties will inlcude order picking, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring safe transport throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensures orderly operation of the material storage area by pulling items from inventory, delivering materials and supplies where needed, and staging the final distribution of products.

- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, recording the location of inventory, keeping materials and supplies in stock, and reporting shortages.

- Prepares items for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.

- Operates forklifs, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items within the storage areas and occasionally load and unload trucks

- Perform daily inspections on the material-handling equipment,

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
