Financial Systems Administrator

Description

This position will be responsible to support and optimize a Global Technology Company's financial systems operation. Under the supervision of Finance Leadership, the Financial Systems Administrator will support optimal NetSuite operations including the areas of Business Controls, Change Management, and Data integrity between NetSuite and connected systems.

• Drive the companies long term goals of creating connected data and streamlining operations through technology adoption and innovation to support a best-in-class finance team.

• Partner with finance department personnel to understand recurring NetSuite issues and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.

• Collaborate with internal technology division to implement advanced functions and processes.

• Assess current state of how the company is utilizing the NetSuite system and make recommendations on process improvements/rollout of functionality

• Implement desired workflow for internal processes and set permissions of specific users depending established guidelines

• Support financial operations with ad hoc assignments and problem solving

• Coordinate, educate and lead team members to continue to improve NetSuite administration and operation.

• The role will also play a key part in workflow from M& A completed.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience supporting and administering NetSuite with a focus on NetSuite financials and change management.

• Strong understanding of Revenue Recognition and how to interpret sales contracts and their impact on rev rec.

• Previous experience owning the Business Controls/SOX Compliance process for NetSuite System.

• Ability to create spreadsheets to support the uploading and transferring of data files from legacy systems to NetSuite.

• Strong understanding of change management and how to maintain information barriers between subsidiaries, departments, and employees.

• Ability to effectively present information to all levels of management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

• Must maintain confidentiality in all matters and handle all matters discretely.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) required in Associated Field such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or Computer Information Systems (CIS)
