Facility Operations Coordinator

Our Clean Harbors facility in La Porte, TX is searching for a Facility Operations Coordinator to join their team. As a Facility Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating several different functions in the facility, including receiving, shipping, and general administration. This position will also work in the confirm physical inventory of the roll offs in the facility and will spend some time in the facility away from their desks. Potential time will be spent helping the outbound team ship materials and label drums as needed.

Shift: Monday-Friday- 6:30am-5:00 pm; OT and additional days as needed. Once fully trained the position may be able to start at 5:00 am once fully trained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;

• Prints and creates outbound manifests and hazardous waste labels for outbound loads;

• Organizes and files plant, and truck to truck paperwork;

• Data entry into internal programs;

• Organizes and maintains trailer inventories;

• Filing, typing, and general clerical duties;

• Any administrative duties as deemed required by supervisors.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• High school diploma or equivalent required;

• 1+ years of related work experience preferred;

• Computer skills and knowledge are required;

• DOT Training/Knowledge a plus;

• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction;

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
