The successful candidate will have outstanding facilities asset and data management skills and will be committed to working with others to deliver best in class, unparalleled excellence in customer service and satisfaction.

    Typical work hours for this role are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; hours may vary based on business demand.

    Hiring hourly range: $23 - $27/hr (hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data).

    You will be responsible for all aspects of regulated and non-regulated facilities asset and data management throughout the campus, including onboarding, tagging, tracking asset property changes, and decommission/retirement of all related assets. You will act as the subject matter expert and point of contact for all asset management performed in Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS).

    You will work closely with engineers and maintenance teams to support work process and project-related tasks. You will serve as a support role for Temperature Sensitive Equipment (TSE) workflow in terms of Add, Change, Delete (ACD), and process coordination. You will provide crucial project support for the facilities maintenance teams with respect to substation walk downs, AHU upgrades, kilo lab, and more. You will assist the Facilities Solutions project teams by providing asset information to properly update finance registers.

    As the Facilities Data/Asset Administrator, you will perform many daily duties, including:

    • Performing data remediation at Groton campus for regulated and non-Regulated Maintenance Services and Utilities departments.

    • Performing field work related to different job requests including, but not limited to mechanical spaces, roofs, electrical rooms, powerhouse, and outdoors.

    • Submitting requests to add new and remove decommissioned equipment to Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.

    • Working with contractors to locate equipment during monthly and yearly testing, as well as new installs.

    • Recording and maintaining results within asset management system per contractor's reports and field findings.

    • Building asset hierarchy for systems and maintain data within database for all sites use as well as assign department's charge code to individual assets for accurate work order charge back.

    • Printing and placing required bar code labels with asset description on 2x2 or 4x4 metal plates and affix to field equipment with aluminum tie for proper identification.

    • Submitting work orders for Add, Change, Delete (ACD) forms on customer's behalf as well as Temperature Sensitive Equipment (TSE).

    • Ensuring temperature transmitter installs/removals, initial /final calibrations, Building Management Systems (BMS) connection/disconnection, Honeywell installs, and compliance validations are completed on all GxP refrigerators, freezers, and incubators.

    • Scheduling with moving team for delivery, removal, and relocation of assets.

    As the Facilities Data/Asset Administrator, you will be expected to:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

    • Experience with asset management in any industry (tagging and data entry).

    • Working knowledge of a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) such as EAMS, MAXIMO, or related database systems.

    • Experience with application software including word-processing and spreadsheet programs.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, data entry, scanning, uploading, and filing data and documents into Document Management System.

    • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

    • Ability to perform detail-oriented work and remain organized.

    • Ability to obtain an appropriate Connecticut driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles, as requested.

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

    • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

    Some physical requirements include:

    • Ability to move light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets, and other storage locations.

    • Ability to occasionally lift to 20 pounds.

    • Repetitive wrist movement.

    • Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen.

    • Ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access data bases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents.

    • Ability to attend meetings throughout the site.

    • Ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations.

    • Some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations.

    • Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate degree in business, Construction Management, or Facilities Management or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Experience in work order management.
