  • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

    • Provide modeling and simulation support for notional movement of Combatant Command (COCOM) Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) during Command Post/Computer Assisted Exercises (CPX/CAX).

    • Participate in User Accepted Testing (UAT) of upgrades to AMC exercise Command and Control (C2), Scheduling, and Exercise Management Control systems used to support Joint Exercise Program (JEP) and other exercises to ensure they perform as designed and have inter-connectivity.

    • Coordinate interface and integration requirements with the theater C2 system - Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) and the Distribution Exercise Support System (DESS) environment, including IDE/GTN (Integrated Development Environment/Global Transportation Network) Convergence Exercise System (IES), Exercise Single Mobility System (E-SMS), and the Joint Deployment Logistics Model (JDLM).

    • Support AMC/A37 in coordinating with AMC/A6 to determine the equipment requirements, internal and external systems connectivity requirements to perform various C2 and ITV functions and develop accurate architecture requirements, drawings, and checklists.

    • Track and document the troubleshooting of issues of a technical nature regarding systems outages, communication disruptions, and issues related to M&S and other software during execution.

    • Attend exercise planning conferences, and coordinate AMC participation in JEP exercises to integrate AMC exercise and training objectives with those of other commands and develop optimized exercise scenarios.

    • Assist in developing AMC exercise materials, documents, and support AMC/A37 in preparing exercise briefings.

    • Assist in developing the Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) and implementers, Exercise Control directives/instructions; and coordinate these documents with the exercise sponsor to ensure that they are relevant and approved for use during exercise execution.

    • Establish the AMC White Cell, Exercise Control Cell, Exercise Response Cell and M&S Cell as appropriate to control exercise events and responses, and to guide the exercise toward achieving the training objectives and provide observations for use in evaluating AMC participation and responses to exercise events.

    • Assist COCOMs in developing Airlift cost estimates for their JEP, report actual JEP airlift costs monthly to the Joint Staff, Services, and scheduling COCOMs, provide AMC/FMAT an Annual Budget Review (BR), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), estimated JEP flying hours, and airlift costs for BR/POM years.

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :

    Experience/Education :

    • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience conducting air mobility operations in an air operations center environment.

    • Must have strong working knowledge of AMC scheduling and C2 systems.

    • Must have strong written and oral skills.

    • Strong attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.

    Preferred Experience/Education:

    • 5 - 7 years of air mobility aircrew experience

    • 3-5 years of experience with AMC exercise design and coordination

    Security Clearance : Must have a current and active SECRET level clearance.
