    Job Summary This position is the lead executive at Opportunity Project, Inc. and is responsible for all program strategy and operations. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting the mission and vision, implementation and administration of policies and budgets, fundraising, grant writing, and the development and management of operational regulations and agreements. This position works directly with the Board of Directors and Children s Specialized Hospital administration to achieve the organization s goals and objectives.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Lead development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan, including, but not limited to, setting goals and objectives, identifying priorities, and monitoring progress.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to ensure the organization's financial sustainability, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and fundraising events.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community partners and government agencies.
    • Oversee the organization's budget, financial reporting, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Prepare and submit reports to the Board of Directors on the organization s activities, finances, and achievements.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the needs of individuals with brain injuries.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with members of Opportunity Project and members families.
    • Advocate for members and the interests of Opportunity Project in all interactions.
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to all staff, volunteers, and vendors.

    Formal Education and Job-Related Experience

    • Master s degree in Health Care Administration, Social Services, or related fields preferred.
    • At least five years of experience in nonprofit management, including strategic planning and implementation, program development, and staff management.
    • Demonstrated success in fundraising, including grant writing and donor cultivation.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including, but not limited to, Board members, staff, volunteers, and Opportunity Project members.
    • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets, financial reporting, and compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Knowledge of brain injury rehabilitation and related fields preferred.
    • Familiarity with the Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation a plus.
