Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Integration Engineer with a strong background in Integration technologies and platforms, preferably, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Azure/Google cloud. The Sr. Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementation, operation, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of Azure serverless applications supporting SAP BTP based integrations. The Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of live production systems in the event of outage, performance, or functionality issues. The Sr. Systems Engineer will work as a part of the SAP Team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integration technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex integration projects

Essential Duties

• Utilize middleware tools and technologies to facilitate seamless communication between diverse applications and systems.

• Design and implement robust APIs for seamless connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Manage API lifecycles, including versioning, security, and documentation

• Propose and implement continuous improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of integration processes.

• Requires full knowledge of the functional area and actively contributes to the overall success of the IT department.

• Create knowledge base articles that can be used by the organization in response to routine or complex incidents.

• Provide diagnostic support for existing product releases.

Under This Roof, We Require

• Working knowledge of Azure Serverless stack and Messaging offerings like ESB and Event Grid Topic is required.

• Azure Certified Administrator or Azure Certified Developer is preferred

• Familiarity with SAP BTP Integration Suite offerings like EventMesh, API Mgmt and Open Connectors is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Business Application Studio, BTP cockpit and ABAP DEV tools.

• In-depth knowledge of middleware technologies (e.g., ESB, iPaaS) and API development.

• Strong understanding of cloud integration patterns and best practices.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, 5 years of IT experience, or Associate's Degree from a Technical Institution

• 8+ years of IT and business/industry work experience

• 2+ years of skills in public clouds (ideally Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform)
