The SPEAR Wireless Security WiSec Team is seeking an experienced embedded systems developer who can help the team build custom RF solutions. The ideal candidate is curious energetic able to operate independently and loves a good challenge. If you thrive on problem solving and creating unique capabilities this is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing software to work on System on a chip SoC device

• Modify firmware to achieve desired functionality

• Test software and firmware for errors and apply appropriate fixes

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer or Electrical Engineering

• Development experience with the Linux kernel and RTOS platforms

• Development experience with 2 or more of the following: Software Defined Radios Microcontroller Firmware Embedded Radio Firmware nRF Ti Silex ESP HDL

• Experience developing and maintaining docker containers

• Proficiency scripting in bash

• Experience working with nRF24 or nRF52 series Nordic Semiconductor SoCs

• Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile fast-paced environment.

• Ability to modify assembly language

• Ability to work with debugging software e.g. IDA-Pro

• Excellent communication presentation interpersonal and analytical skills

• Experience with embedded systems design and development

• Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed detail-oriented and enthusiastic team player.
