Software Test Engineer

Experis Game Solutions is seeing a Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be a part of the Quality Assurance department supporting one of our premier clients. As an ideal candidate, you will have strong experience developing test cases, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving quality in the video game industry, aligning successfully within the organization. Video Game Testing experience is required in this fun and collaborative environment!

Job Title: Software TEst Engineer

Location: Portland, OR

Pay: $19-22/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and executing test plans and test cases

• Will work in an embedded collaborative environment with development and other QA teams

• Familiarity with sprint planning in an Agile environment

• Involved in root cause analysis , risk mitigation and various other review processes

• Manages workflow using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail (can train on specific technologies)

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance (QA) test experience

• Experience creating comprehsive test cases.

• Experience working in an embedded and collaborative environment with development and other QA teams

• A solid understanding of test requirements (Acceptance/Exit Criteria)

• Familiarity with data querying
