Electrical Superintendent - Per Diem Available

This is a long term project based role traveling to greenfield solar sites in central Illinois. We are offering 7 day per diem at $166/day. This project is non union and is an inspection role.

Description

Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site. Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports. Checks cable laying and cable identification. Performs all relevant loop checks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair while ensuring compliance with governing codes

Verify cable trays and conduit runs are properly supported and wiring installed correctly

Verify instruments and cable glands are installed correctly

Verify electrical layout and installation meets job specifications

Convey electrical deficiencies to assigned teams and supervisors through documented inspections

Assist with building training content to ensure workforce is properly educated

Process improvement minded, focusing and identifying cost saving measures

Continuing education on governing electrical codes and manufacturing practices

Ability to testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system

Understanding of how to troubleshoot electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
