    We are a leading company dedicated to innovation and excellence in providing solutions to our customers' needs. As an Electrical Designer, you will play a crucial role in our team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. You will be involved in designing electrical panels and providing drafting/engineering support throughout our projects.

    Requirements

    • Associate degree in Electrical Technology/Engineering or relevant field in place of degree.

    • 3-5 years of experience in controls engineering.

    • Hands-on experience with BOM (Bill Of Materials)

    salary: $30 - 40 per hour

    responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the sales team to provide application support and assist in quoting control projects.

    • Work closely with other team members to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

    • Stay updated with the latest UL/NEC requirements to ensure compliance in our designs.

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical 2D.

    • Experience in designing various electrical diagrams and lists, including one line/block diagrams, wiring/interconnect diagrams, and cable indexes.

    • Ability to produce and check design layouts, detail drawings, and assembly/mechanical drawings.

    • Previous experience in designing starter, soft starter, and VFD panels.

    • Familiarity with NEC and UL508A requirements (NNNY experience is a plus).

    • Solid communication skills to interact directly with customers and understand their needs.

    • Ability to interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).

    • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    • Commitment to continual improvement and learning mindset.
