Echo Technologist II

As our Echo Tech II you will operate ultrasound equipment and perform a variety of technical diagnostic procedures which encompass the

specialty area of Echocardiography. You will perform perform 2D/Doppler echocardiograms, Pharmacological and TMT stress echocardiograms and assist with Transesophageal echocardiograms.

To be successful in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of imaging equipment and proper patient positioning to produce and analyze quality images.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound diagnostic imaging on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols

• Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning , actively participates with patient testing, performing routine, non-routine, urgent, and emergent patient requests

• Performs portable examinations at the bedside to ensure patient safety as well as provide immediate diagnostictesting when needed

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree OR one year certificate from a healthrelated program in a related medical field, which includeseminar course training in cardiac ultrasound preferred

• Registered by American Diagnostic Registry for MedicalSonographers (ARDMS) as RDCS OR RVT or Registered byCardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS

• Two (2) years related experience

Pay Range

$33.60 - $48.73 /hour
