Dispatcher

Description:

The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of crews, equipment, and materials to various job sites. This position requires working on a rotating shift schedule to ensure 24/7 operational coverage. Strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with computer systems are essential.

Shift:

rotate between first shift 6am -230pm and second shift 3pm-9pm

One night a week is on call

Job Duties:

• Coordinate movement of workers, materials and equipment to job sites

• Dispatch trucks to job sites, quarries and asphalt plants

• Communicate with material suppliers, laborers, operators, and supervisors with job concerns

• Keep track of traffic and weather conditions affecting schedules

• Prepare all paperwork associated with completed assigned tasks

• Monitor truck activity using HCSS Telematics

• Schedule worker and equipment moves using HCSS Dispatcher Software

• Other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience construction dispatching is a plus but open to candidates with dispatching in other industries
