The disc form operator is responsible for the make / form / test of customized snap acting bimetal discs used to sense and react to changes in ambient temperature conditions, which form the core of a thermostat device. These temperature sensing devices are used in a diverse portfolio of custom and catalog offering of hermetically sealed thermostats used in the Aerospace, Defense and other related industries.

The Disc Form Operator will work from detailed routers to identify the material, equipment and form tool operations needed to achieve a disc with the desired operating temperature setpoints. i.e. (Top Temperature) / (Bottom Temperature), as needed.
