    Description and Requirements

    Role Value Proposition:

    The Director of Strategic Planning, in partnership with senior leaders, is responsible for the development of the strategic business plans for the Application Technology Organization. This role performs a broad range of activities that drive the creation, monitoring, and execution of the organization's strategy. This role develops metrics, performance measures, and operational reports that support business objectives and results. In addition, this role leads Portfolio Financial Management, Governance, Communications, Employee Engagement Programs, Agile Program Delivery, Process Documentation, Benchmarking, Reporting, and Performance Measurement. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with many teams, including Internal Audit as well as Risk Management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Own and execute the high-level strategic plan, governance, and reporting for the organization, continuously aligning strategies and initiatives with broader functions.

    • Create an internal framework to measure business plan objectives and ensure targets and timelines are tracked and met.

    • Coordinates with key stakeholders in advance of meetings to set agendas and clarify/align objectives including internal staff meetings (e.g., Town Halls, Senior Leadership Team, extended leadership meetings, workforce planning). Prepares agenda, reports, and/or presentations for senior-level management and operational review meetings.

    • Develop and implement strategic programs to support a variety of organizational priorities including but not limited to financial management, operational stability, vendor management, employee engagement, and generally enabling the business.

    • Oversees the development and refinement of performance measures and/or reengineering processes.

    • Manages/coordinates Audit activities, ensuring key parties provide timely responses to audit requests and create appropriate Management Action Plans (MAPs) which are closed by their due dates.

    • Influences and builds collaborative partnerships and alliances to achieve shared goals.

    • Coordinates with the Global Infrastructure Chief of Staff and other S&P leads to drive the transformation across GI in a collaborative effort.

    Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

    Required:

    • 10+ Years General work experience

    • 5+ years of IT experience coordinating and/or managing application development, vendor management, infrastructure engineering, or operations projects.

    • 5+ years of people management or supervisory experience.

    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or other related fields.

    • Strong business acumen and maturity with broad exposure to business units.

    • Self-directed/Driven and highly self-motivated.

    • Expert knowledge of business operations, planning, budgeting, re-engineering, and performance measures.

    • Expert knowledge of company and department operations.

    • Expert interpersonal skills/communication.

    • Demonstrated experience interacting with roles of authority.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Organization, presentation, and collaboration skills.

    • Personable, conscientious, and able to cope with pressure and prioritize work appropriately.

    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Strong collaboration and customer relationship skills.

    • Ability to perform effectively in both independent and team settings, maintaining focus on multiple high-priority tasks and projects.

    Preferred:

    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Experience/certification in ITIL, Agile, Lean, and/or PMP methodologies.

    • SAFe/Agile Certification.
