    We are looking for a Director of Operational Strategy and Transformation to join a leading waste management company headquartered in New Jersey. With a commitment to sustainability and efficient waste solutions, they serve communities across the New York City boroughs and the Jersey City area. As they continue to expand and innovate, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the team.

    As the Director of Operational Strategy and Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to drive growth, operational excellence, and transformational change across Jersey City, Bronx and Brookyln depots. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of new business, effective processes, and sustainable growth.

    You will work alongside the Director of Operations that oversees Jersey City, Bronx and Brooklyn while he continues to handle day-to-day operations and will report to the Market VP. You'll learn all aspects of the operations so you can evaluate how to best grow the business, what operational changes need to be made and integration of net new business across all locations.

    This individual can reside in NY or NJ but is expected to travel to Jersey City, Bronx and Brooklyn locations in addition to their headquarters in Teaneck. You should be comfortable with flexibility of shift including nights and weekends so you can best learn and evaluate the operations.

    Skills and Requirements

    -10+ years of operational/change management experience in the logistics, supply chain, waste management or start up space

    -Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets ($50 million+)

    -Proven track record of successful acquisitions and team growth both size and revenue

    -Experience implementing new processes that directly impact the success of the organization -experience working in waste management or recycle null
