    Job Purpose and Impact

    The Director of Communications for Cargill's Digital Technology & Data organization will develop and execute integrated internal and external communications strategies for key company priorities to shape stakeholder perceptions. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, strategic thought partner, bold leader, and team player - someone who will bring rigor, alignment, and energy to the team and workplace. You will develop strategies that align with Cargill's business priorities, advance the organization's story and brand, and further Cargill's mission of nourishing the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Build and execute holistic, multi-channel communication campaigns to drive awareness and engagement around business strategy.

    • Act as senior advisor to Chief Information and Digital Officer on a wide range of communications issues and influence stakeholders throughout the organization.

    • Translate complex business topics into multifaceted, understandable content.

    • Create an employee engagement strategy that connects our teams and drives the company's Digital Technology & Data brand.

    • Create and implement change-communications plans for organizational and operating model changes.

    • Partner with communications colleagues and collaborate with key content partners in other functions and businesses to build effective relationships in a matrix'd environment, supporting diverse and dispersed stakeholders and initiatives.

    • Continuously experiment with new tools and technologies to modernize content distribution through digital, mobile, broadcast, and online channels to capture and engage an audience.

    • Analyze outcomes and data to drive and improve communications strategies.

    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

    • Minimum of six years of related work experience.

    • Expertise across internal comms, executive comms and external comms.

    • Tenured experience with large, complex organizational change management and the development and execution of communications strategy with proven results.

    • Track record of working closely with C-suite executives across the business and gaining their trust.

    • Excellent writing and thinking skills.

    • Strong project and people management skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong business knowledge with a proven ability to use communications to drive business strategy.

    • Comfort developing strategy and rolling up sleeves to execute.

    • Three years of supervisory experience.

    • Minimum ten years of essential communication or similar related work experience.

    • Experience working in a global company.

    External Posting Information

    The preferred location for this position is based out of the Wazyata, MN office.

    Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law
