Director, Enterprise Data & Governance

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Data Management Director to join our dynamic team. In this role, the EDM Director will oversee data services for our Digital, Traffic, Sales, Content Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and other back-office services. This role ensures that our IT Enterprise Data Management supports the company's goals effectively. You'll report to the VP of Enterprise Data, Analytics, & Governance.

ABOUT YOU

You have strong Data engineering knowledge and have led technology projects to increase operational efficiency and improve collaboration. Your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills set you apart. You're highly organized and results-focused, with experience in client-facing roles and collaborating with diverse teams. You excel in coordinating activities with business teams and technology domains to deliver unified solutions.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Lead the design, development, and implement enterprise data management solutions, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration processes.

• Architect and maintain scalable data infrastructure using Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Utilize advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract insights from data and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Design and implement data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop data models and schemas to support business needs.

• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

• Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in enterprise data management, AI, and ML, and provide guidance on their adoption and implementation.

• Drive technology development for Enterprise data management with key business areas.

• Collaborate with business units and IT leads to deliver strategic and tactical processes.

• Ensure Master Data processes are unified across TelevisaUnivision.

• Support Data governance changes to improve data quality and integrations.

• Prioritize and align Enterprise-wide integration and master data initiatives.

• Manage a hybrid team of internal employees and external service providers.

YOU HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience required (Master's degree preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing, Integrations, and Master data management.

• 8-10 years of experience leading Enterprise integration and Master data management departments.

• Strong analytical skills and expertise in Generative AI and ML techniques, with the ability to apply them to real-world business problems.

• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, Informatica IDMC, MS Power BI, SAP BO, Looker.

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage, processing, AI-ML, and analytics services offered by GCP, AWS, and Azure

• Strong financial management and vendor contract negotiation skills.

• Experience defining Integration patterns and implementing microservices architecture.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

• Experience managing a team of internal employees and external managed service providers to deliver key business service level agreements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, full professional proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
