Desktop Support Analyst

Description

Robert Half is looking for a talented Desktop Support Technician who is able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an easily understandable and concise format. If you are an articulate problem solver who loves to work in a challenging and positive environment, this may be the Desktop Support Technician role for you. This Desktop Support Analyst role is short-term contract / temporary in nature and is based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area.

Major responsibilities

• Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions

• Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

• Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities

• Deliver computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures

• Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals

• Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters

• Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors

Requirements

• Desktop support or related experience

• Customer Support experience required

• Audio Visual experience desired

• Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
