  • We are seeking a Mechanical Designer/Drafter to join our client in the Tualatin area!

    Description

    This Designer/Drafter will primarily be responsible for designing precision fabricated pre-cast concrete products and structural steel products that will the support vibration sensitive semiconductor production equipment. They are creating the either steel or concrete base that these semiconductor tools sit on, along with the layout drawings for the tools as well in 2D. Working primarily in AutoCAD but they will also need to convert drawings from 2D into Inventor - open to Solidworks experience as well. This person will also be responsible for drawing the layouts that show how the structures are being anchored down to the ground.

    • Concepts in Inventor, 3D design models & assemblies and drawings for new product designs

    • Designing fabrication fixtures and tooling for new and existing product designs

    • Converting previous AutoCAD 2D designs, parts, and assemblies to Inventor 3D models

    • Modify existing AutoCAD 2D designs and Inventor designs
