Cybersecurity Liaison / Administrator - Mid-Career

THE WORK

As a member of our team, you will be involved in a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the cyber resiliency of our radar. This includes tasks such as:

• Hardening operating systems, applications, and network devices

• Conducting vulnerability scans

• Continuous monitoring of the security posture of the system

• Assisting with Government Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Vulnerability Testing

• Implementing security updates and patches

• Applying configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and SolarWinds security tools

• Providing support to maintain the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the system to include support of the RMF package

• Supporting system administrators, engineers, and operators when troubleshooting events

• Collaboration with system stakeholders to ensure the cybersecurity posture of the system is maintained

• Interfacing with and supporting the ISSO and other government security stakeholders

A level 3 employee is typically mid-career and has 3 to 5+ years of professional experience.

Please Note

• This position requires a government Secret security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

• This position is located at a customer site at Eglin Site C6 in Florida, USA and not at a Lockheed Martin facility. Ability to relocate to Eglin required.

• This position will involve around 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to contribute their skills and expertise to our mission. You should have demonstrable experience in cybersecurity administration or systems administration, whether gained through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team are essential. You should have a solid working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems and have an active CompTIA Security+ certification or higher IAT Certification. You should also be able to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance. Having experience with ESS, ACAS, or SolarWinds security tools is a plus, as well as experience with Windows Active Directory and a familiarity with DISA STIGs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Related Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master's Degree with 3+ year or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrable and relevant cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience.

• Good working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems.

• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification or higher (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or CISSP)

• Ability to obtain an Secret DoD Secret security clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a Security Clearance requires US citizenship.

• Ability to travel up to 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.

• Tenable Security Center, Tenable Nessus, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) administration experience

• ACAS scanning

• Trellix and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) administration and monitoring

• SolarWinds tools experience

• Experience with Windows Active Directory

• Familiarity with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)

• Troubleshooting as a systems administrator

• Good organizational and coordination skills

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
