Corporate Finance Professional

ABOUT THIS POSITION

As part of the Waystar Finance team, the Corporate Finance Professional role will provide a broad opportunity to monitor key metrics, conduct research, identify insights and develop written and verbal communications to support a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Individuals in this position are expected to develop a broad knowledge of Waystar's business, industry, and operations to effectively support analysis and decision making at all levels of the organization. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and reporting related to business operations and adjusted proforma financial results

• Prepare, analyze, and explain historical, actual, proforma, and projected financial information as requested by stakeholders and investors

• Create, review, and coordinate business due diligence analyses

• Prepare and analyze the rolling financial forecast

• Clearly communicate results of analyses to all financial stakeholders

• Prepare presentation materials for board meetings and confidential memoranda

• Provide analytical and reporting support to senior executive team on ad hoc basis

• Enhance business insights and reporting by leveraging PowerBI

• Develop and implement new metrics of business, financial, and operational performance

• Maintain in-depth understanding of the events and offerings within the healthcare technology market

• Develop analysis and reporting for public company competitors

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or similar concentration or equivalent experience

• 5-10+ years of similar work experience

• Strong understanding of financial metrics, accounting concepts, and US GAAP

• Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills required with a keen attention to detail

• Self-motivated individual with ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks and assignments

• Demonstrated success delivering outcomes under significant time constraints.

• A passion for personal development, with a desire to become a subject matter expert, and aspiring to be a leader on the Finance team

• Experience building and maintaining operating plans and financial forecasts in Oracle ePBCS a plus

• Proficiency developing data models in PowerBI, Advanced M, or DAX knowledge preferred

• Experience with private equity owned or publicly traded businesses preferred

• MBA or CPA preferred
