  • Position Overview: The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and ensuring the safe

    movement of materials and equipment around the construction site.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.

    • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.

    • Clean and maintain crane and hoisting mechanism.

    • Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis.

    • Determine the load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overload.

    • Work with ground signals or radio communication to ensure safe lifts.

    • Follow project schedules and meet deadlines with efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in crane operation within the construction industry.

    • Must hold a current crane operator's certification.

    • Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures, including OSHA regulations.

    • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and load charts.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
