Valero's internship program inspires tomorrow's innovators by developing highly motivated students who are ready for challenging assignments. As aCommercial Analyst Intern, you will be assisting with job duties in the following areas:

*Commercial Analysis: *

• Assists with documenting product movements in the TSW (Trader & Scheduler Workbench application)

• Inserts movement documents into IXOS imaging system. Maintains operational and administrative files

• Monitors and maintains undocumented product movements report and unscheduled volumes report

• Produces and validates daily rack lifting reports

• Creates orders and attaches to appropriate SAP TSW movement

Commercial Vendor Analysis:

• Reviews and processes Valero's vendor requests for trade vendors through a designated system

• Updates, changes, partners and extends SAP Vendor Master Records needed to support purchase orders, payables, and SAP contracts in a timely manner.

• Ensures appropriate payment method for operating country, vendor country and payment terms are compliant with Valero Payment Term Policy.

• Monitors and updates vendor records for expiring tax forms.

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Analysis or a related field required.

• Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred.

• Obtained at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship (June 2024) required.

• Graduation date between December 2024 to May 2025 required.

• Ability to work 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours per week during the summer required.

• This is an onsite, in-person internship at the Valero Headquarters in San Antonio. Candidates are required to live within commuting distance to San Antonio, TX.

• Knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel required.
