Class A CDL Truck Driver

Collins Companies, Pallette Stone Corp. is seeking a reliable individual for a full-time permanent position as a Class A CDL Truck Driver .

Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Perform job duties while following all safety policies and procedures

• Deliver aggregates and blacktop material to customers

• Ability to communicate with customers and internal personnel

• Ability to navigate to customer locations

• Ability to take direction and follow instructions.

• Responsible for keeping truck and trailer clean and free of debris

• Position is full-time Monday - Friday with weekend, night work as needed

• Must be willing to work out of town for extended periods of time

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Must have a valid Class A CDL license

• Must be able to drive a manual shift vehicle (18-speed transmission)

• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years CDL class driving experience

• Must be familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations

• Must be familiar with NYS DOT Rules and Regulations

• Dump trailer and flowboy experience preferred

• Must have a clean Motor Vehicle driver abstract

• Must have a current DOT Physical

• Must pass a Pre-Employment drug screen Pallette Stone Corp is a Drug-Free Employer

• Must be able to complete a pre/post trip inspection of the vehicle

• Flowboy experience is preferred.

Base salary range

Class A CD Truck Driver

$44,000-$100,000

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
