    Certified Sterile Processing Tech - Full Time

    Texas Health HEB is looking for a top skilled Certified Sterile Processing Tech. Is that you?

    Work location: Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, Texas 76022

    Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Evenings, Monday through Friday from 2:30pm - 11:00pm with rotating holidays.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required

    Experience

    • 1 year sterile processing experience preferred

    Licenses and Certifications

    • CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technici9an upon hire required OR

    • CBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution upon hire required OR

    • CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician upon hire required

    What You Will Do

    • Performs scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label.

    • Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays.

    • Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/trays.

    • Performs scanning of instrument trays to track location using the SPM system.

    • Demonstrates decontamination process according to policy and procedure.

    • Performs tests and documents as directed to ensure proper operation of washers and Emergency Eyewash and Shower.

    • Demonstrates the proper loading technique for sterilization method

    • Scans prepared items into correct sterilizer load.
