Health Advocates Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $18 / hour

Shifts Details:

• Monday through Friday: 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am Sat & Sun: 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am

Job Description:

Our residential group home in Maryland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA in our group home setting, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges.

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.

• Previous experience working in a residential group home or similar setting preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Compassionate and patient demeanor.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.

• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.

• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration for residents who require assistance.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.

• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents, following all infection control protocols.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident.
