    Function of the Position:

    The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a member of the Management Systems Team (MST) within DAI Technology. MST is focused on developing management information systems for DAI's projects around the world. The business systems analyst will be part of a strategic initiative to move the existing project information systems into new platforms, often low-code, and re-imagine the way that system solutions are provided to our global users. To this goal, she will work with the users to identify and document requirements, develop user stories and test the new product. She will also work with DAI projects around the world to configure the new IT solutions to their needs.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    New Systems Analysis and Testing

    • Contribute to system analysis DAI system needs in support of DAI's digital strategy to ensure that the new management system suite is streamlined, user friendly and supports DAI's corporate vision and best practices.

    • Serve as a key liaison between DAI's IT development team; project users and corporate stakeholders to identify their data tracking or reporting needs. Translate these business needs into technology requirements, and work with development teams to implement these.

    • Develop requirements documentation or user stories with acceptance criteria for hand over to software development teams for project or corporate systems.

    • Collaborate continuously with the Agile Scrum team to groom, refine issues and plan sprints to implement new system features.

    • Assist in functional testing of newly developed system features and collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues.

    Existing Systems Analysis, Configuration and Reporting

    • For existing systems and their users, often in-person at location, facilitate the process to define system requirements, and complete needed system configurations.

    • Identify and configure modifications needed to existing processes in the system based on user input or compliance changes.

    • Identify project or corporate reporting needs and work with MST team to address them within existing reporting tools, mainly PowerBI.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 5: Minimum of 4 years of relevantof relevant professional experience and a college degree. Equivalent.Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and certification will be considered.

    • Grade P6: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience and a college degree. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

    • Ability to travel to all countries where DAI implements its projects, barring times when DAI Global security has deemed travel unsafe - estimated travel requirement up to 15%.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail

    • Experience with gathering user requirements, developing system documentation, testing or analytical business reports

    • Demonstrated interest in leveraging digital solutions to meet critical business needs.

    • Experience in oral and written communication including analysis, report preparation and report presentation

    • Proven ability to be flexible and work well under pressure, both individually and in a team environment, to meet deadlines

    • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

    • PowerBI

    • Knowledge of low-code options - Airtable, Wrike, other.

    • Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, PowerBI, and/or SQL

    • Demonstrated interest in Systems and Information Technology field.

    • Facilitation, training, and presentation experience

    • Development of user stories and acceptance criteria, knowledge of the development cycle including QA

    • Other language a plus (Spanish, Russian, French, Arabic)

    P5: For employees working in the United States, the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $89,689 to $114,451.

    P6: For employees working in the United States, the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $103,143 to $131,577.

    Salary for part-time employees will be prorated based on actual hours worked. Actual offers will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant education, experience, skills, seniority, performance, and business or organizational needs.

    Eligible U.S. based employees, will be able to enroll in medical, dental and vision insurance, plus a 401(k)-retirement plan with a company match. Additionally, employees will be eligible for company-paid annual leave (vacation & holidays), sick leave, parental leave; as well as short- and long-term disability coverage. Detailed information will be provided at the time a formal offer is extended.
