    Jacobs has an exciting opportunity to support our Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) project and have a direct hand in challenging today and reinventing tomorrow!

    Jacobs is seeking a dynamic Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Business Analyst for the Wastewater Facility in Wilmington, DE where you'll be working directly with the Project Manager to support the delivery team.

    Your role as a Business Analyst includes

    • Managing financials including, but not limited to reporting, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and performance variance analysis.

    • Partnering with a variety of internal stakeholders including local managers, regional and corporate leadership, the OMFS commercial team, contracts, purchasing, and accounting.

    • A focus on risk management, financial analysis, and accounting support.

    • Identifying and mitigating risks that could negatively impact project success.

    • Accounting duties related to accruals and true-up of financials as well as project deliverables (monthly, quarterly and annual controls).

    The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    Here's what you'll need :

    • B.A. or B.S. degree from a four-year accredited college or university with course work in business, finance, and/or accounting

    • Progressive experience related to accounting and finance experience

    • Extensive prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and reporting

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    • Exemplary organization and time management techniques

    • Ability to travel

    • Valid driver's license with no major infractions

    Ideally, You'll Also Have:

    • Advanced course work or certification in business, finance, and/or accounting with applicable work experience in industry or consulting services
