    LOCATION: Golden Road Brewing Company

    SALARY: $120,000 - $140,000 with potential annual bonus and long-term incentive eligible

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Vic President (Marketing & Innovation), the Director (Brand Marketing) is accountable for the continued success of the Golden Road Brewing master-brand, the success & growth of the CX at GR Pubs and in embedding Golden Road Brewing into the cultural fabric of Los Angeles and county, the place the brand calls home. The role is a business-critical leader in a complex, matrixed business requiring strong project management, influencing & strategic brand marketing skills to be successful.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Is accountable for the brand health of the Golden Road Brewing Masterbrand equity. Is accountable for managing & activating the positioning of Golden Road Brewing as a Los Angeles craft super-brand.

    • Development & implementation of annual 1YP including GRB Pubs events plan

    • Is accountable or the development of the development of the annual Core Brand Retail Activation calendar & Brand Programming for Core Brands by channel- National Chain, Home Market Chain & Independents, C-Stores, E-commerce to be completed in full.

    • Leads the AnnuaI Factbook / Brand Jobs to Be Done process in Nov - Jan of each fiscal year that identifies portfolio growth opportunities, portfolio format gaps, competitor advantages, emerging trend, and a review of prior year growth drivers and leads annual Game Plan process.

    • Accountable for Annual Trimester Planning and meeting all key activation dates for Core Brand portfolio activations.

    • Oversees the implementation plans for key sponsorships incl. LA Dodgers, LA Rams, LAFC etc.

    • Leads the creation of the commercialization materials for all Core Brand Activations

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Educated to degree or diploma level preferably with an academic background in Marketing.

    • 6-8 years' experience in a blue-chip or global packaged goods company with direct experience and accountability for driving brand P&L performance ideally in Premium Category or above CPG brand trademarks.

    • Experience of orchestrating activation across large, matrixed organizations with a proven track record in stakeholder management, excellent communication skills.

    • Highly organized with excellent project management skills.

    • Experience of working directly with Sales, Finance, Legal & other functions in a collaborative way with shared goals and outcomes.

    • Excellent track record in creativity with content creation and an ability to capture public imagination across all four tiers of trade (AB/Wholesaler/Customer/Consumer).

    • A team player with resilience, a great sense of humor and imagination.
