    As Auditor III, you will assess and enhance internal control throughout Williams by identifying risks to business objectives. The ability to collaborate with others to solve sophisticated problems, demonstrate initiative and learning agility, and attention to detail are keys to success!

    Responsibilities/Expectations:

    • Participates and leads the development and execution of internal audits

    • Interprets and applies relevant data to drive audit activities

    • Performs and documents risk assessments

    • Develops risk and controls matrices and testing approaches

    • Communicates relevant work progress, issues, and results to appropriate leadership, including root cause of findings and recommendations

    • Participates in audits of business processes in the broader operational organization, including operations and corporate shared services organization

    • Facilitates team audit engagements that span various departments to deliver leading practices and process improvement opportunities

    • Establishes trusting, positive relationships across the organization to support business objectives

    • Uses data analytics to support the audit process and provide valuable insights to management

    • Other duties as assigned

    Education/Years of Experience:

    • Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of six (6) years' of relevant experience

    • Preferred: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or similar professional accreditation

    Other Requirements

    • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

    • Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Knowledgeable of COSO internal control framework and Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS)

    • Preferred: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Onspring or other comparable project management/audit software, and demonstrate the ability to apply these tools to effectively lead and track audit activities and findings
