Description

Downtown Minneapolis boutique litigation firm is seeking an attorney with 3-7+ years' experience with commercial lending, creditors' remedies, bankruptcy, and workouts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal intricacies related to commercial lending transactions, creditors' rights enforcement, bankruptcy proceedings, and loan workouts.

The firm is growing fast & they are busy. This person will not be required to generate their own book of business.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel to commercial lenders on structuring transactions, conducting due diligence, and perfecting security interests.

• Advocate for creditors in various legal proceedings, including replevin actions, collateral possession, and judgment enforcement.

• Offer expert guidance on distressed loans, insolvency matters, and loan workouts to maximize creditors' recovery while ensuring fairness and practicality.

• Cultivate strong relationships with community bank clients, offering personalized service and strategic advice to address their legal needs effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on commercial lending, creditors' remedies, bankruptcy, and workouts.

• Proven track record of successfully handling complex legal matters and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Discretionary year-end & origination bonuses in addition to base salary. Full benefits provided.
